Attacks

Attacks

The very basic logic behind self-defense is that every attack has a defense. As every action has a reaction.
Self-defense is just not defending yourself but also using common sense and logic to be safe. Its also related to always having awareness.
So lets talk about attacks here. Basically in self-defense it can be divided into two sections-

1.Simple attacks
2.Complex attacks

1. Simple attacks -
Simple attacks consists of simple grabbing, choking and limited motion. Simple wrist grabbing, neck choking, using less motion and attacking are the simple attacks. These are very simple tactics and does not require any practice just awareness and presence of mind.

2. Complex attacks -
Complex attack are those which require practice and strength of a person. Basically the complex attacks are like pushing, punching and throwing. These attacks are only possible if one uses the right techniques and has practiced it over and over again. Or else they may land up hurting themselves.

FEARLESS ► Motivational Video ᴴᴰ

Knowing is not enough

As rightly quoted by Bruce Lee that "Knowing is not enough, we must Apply. Willing is not enough, We must Do."
Whatever we learn in life may it be anything. Just knowing it is not the ultimate thing. It is not enough to know what you believe in. You must be willing to use your passion to fuel success. Even if it is doing a small simple action, you must DO. Think about what you believe in and try to make a stance. Even if you just choose someone else to share your beliefs with, it is a start!

Few Rules of Self-defense

Rule Four-

It's important to control the situation.
Don't React, Act.
The person who can control the situation is usually the person that will come out on top. Unfortunately, during most self-defense situations the unprepared person usually allows their emotions to dictate the outcome.
But we should not at all loose hopes and be emotionally strong enough so that we can calmly and sensibly draw some proper and good solutions to the adverse situation.

BE SELF AWARE - MOTIVATIONAL VIDEO

Few Rules of Self-defense

Rule Three (Cont.)-
Always keep an eye on the people who are around you. Staring at a cell phone screen  does little to let you know what's going on in your environment.
Be aware of what's in your area. If you are in a situation where an attack is imminent, having a good idea of where the exit points are and what you can use help get out alive.

Few Rules of Self-defense

Rule Three-
Situational Awareness is more important than actual fighting skills.
Since the earliest way to prevent an attack is not putting yourself in situations where you might be attacked , awareness is something that is probably more important than is probably more important than your actual ability to fight.
Become an expert at body language.
How an aggressor is standing, looking, or motioning can give you clues as to what he/she is about to do.

Few Rules of Self-defense
Self-confidence is the foundation of all great success and achievement

Rule Two-
Confidence is Key Believe it or not, most criminals are pretty damn good at what they do. And when it comes to selecting victims, they can smell fear from a mile away.
One of the best ways to prevent an attack is make sure you project an of image of strength. Now I'm not talking about walking around, chest puffed out like Billy Bad-ass; I'm talking about developing your self-confidence and not projecting an image of weakness.
Criminals are experts at picking victims, and they feel are weak or vulnerable to attack.

Few Rules of Self-defense

Rule One-

Don't put yourself in Bad Situations.Sounds like common sense right? After all, avoiding conflicts is something most of us are taught when we're young. Unfortunately, as we grow older many of us forget this common sense piece of advice and continually put ourselves in sticky situations. The best way to defend yourself  in a situation where you are likely to be attacked.

What is Self-defense?

Self defense is the action taken for defending ourselves or any other person from harm. Self-defense is using your physical force to counter an immediate threat of violence.
This force can be classified in two ways which are firstly unarmed force and second armed force.
Unarmed force basically means defending with your bear hands. Most of the forms of martial arts is unarmed practice.
Armed force naturally means defense using any kind of weapons. Any object that we carry can be used as weapon in the worst situation. For example a flashlight, keys, hair pins, baseball bat, etc.
